GeMeTec is a leading international company developing and producing semiconductor metrology equipment. GeMeTec headquarter has been founded in 1985 with the objective to develop new analytical methods and instruments for the semiconductor industry. From the beginning analytical services with special methods has been offered to industrial customers. The first commercial instrument was a live time measurement tool for bulk analysis of silicon wafers and has been launched in 1990. In 1994 a preparation tool for surface analysis of wafers was introduced. Presently the company has a new analytical instrument based on its long experience in x-ray physics. The strong demand in the semiconductor industry for innovative analysis tools causes a fast growth of GeMeTec, which is expected to continue during the next years independent of downturns in the industry. Our main customers in Taiwan and China are SMIC, TSMC, UMC, Powerchip (PSC), ProMOS, Inotera, Nanya, Winbond, VIS, Macronix, FKS, NDL, Kinik, Phoenix, Taisil, and Mosel.
