愛克發全名為「愛克發‧吉華」，是一家從事影像科技研究以及生產製造的國際集團，總部設在比利時。
愛克發是世界三大軟片生產商之一，於比利時、美國、德國與中國設有大型生產及研發單位。在全球設有19處生產據點，40家分公司及超過120家代理商，員工逾18,000人，產品達9000多種。
愛克發提供各種高科技的影像解決方案，包含耗材、硬體、軟體及佔愛克發營業比重日益增加的各式數位影像產品，主要市場包括印前製版業、出版傳播業、報業、桌上出版業、醫療診斷影像及PCB電路板軟片等。 其中獲專利的數以千計。愛克發的產品約40% 供應歐洲地區，60% 供應其他世界各地。

The Agfa-Gevaert Group develops, produces and distributes an extensive range of analog and digital imaging systems and IT solutions, mainly for the printing industry and the healthcare sector, as well as for specific industrial applications.
Agfa-Gevaert has three focused business groups: Agfa Graphics, Agfa HealthCare, and Agfa Materials.
Agfa's headquarters and parent company are located in Mortsel, Belgium. The company has production facilities around the world, with the largest production and research centers in Belgium, the United States, Germany and China. This global production network enables the company to meet the specific needs of each market, to limit the risk of currency fluctuations and to reduce transportation costs.
Agfa is commercially active worldwide through more than 40 wholly-owned sales organizations. In countries where Agfa does not have its own sales organization, the market is served by a network of agents, distributors and representatives.

材料科技影像事業群 (Agfa Materials)
近年陸續自印刷與醫療事業群中獨立出來，利用愛克發的核心科技如薄膜技術(Film & Foil)與塗佈技術(Coating)開發新的產品與應用領域如：
印刷電路板軟片(PCB film)、空照片、導電高分子材料(Orgacon /PEDOT:PSS)、電影片、防偽及身分識別系統、廢水處理生化膜(MBR)、PET base合成紙、其他功能性薄膜以及基礎材料等。

Agfa's operational activities are incorporated in the Business Groups Graphics, HealthCare, and Materials. This structure creates various synergetic effects, which enhance the efficiency of both sales and R&D. Each entity deals with a specific type of customer. In this way, our customers fully benefit from the technical expertise and the practical experience of our employees.
Agfa Materials
Agfa Materials offers high-quality film-based consumables in the business-to-business market, both for Agfa Graphics and Agfa HealthCare, and for third parties. For the motion picture market it supplies sound recording film and color print film on which copies of the master version of a movie are printed. Other main products are microfilm and film for non-destructive testing. Furthermore Materials' portfolio includes solutions for aerial photography, for thermal printing, for the production of printed circuit boards, security identification cards and passports and for use in electroluminescent lamps, touch screens and displays. It also produces PET film and is also developing many new technologies such as Synthetic paper, and Membranes for wastewater treatment and all other custom designed bases for various applications.
