本事務所與傳統法律事務所或專利商標事務所以不同的理念經營，我們的目標係成為一專精於高科技之國際智慧財產權事務所。本事務所之主要的客戶群包含：工研院，金工中心，大學研究單位，竹科，南科，楠梓加工出口區，前鎮加工出口區等高科技廠商，及若干國際知名大企業。 隨著台灣科技水準之提昇，智慧財產權已成為現代企業成敗的重要關鍵。而專利權於智慧財產權之中佔有非常重要的地位。專利工程師是我們最重要的成員，我們所接觸的技術皆為各產業之最先進者，相對地，我們亦要求專利工程師具有良好的專業背景。除了所內的訓練課程之外，我們亦提供專利工程師參加國內外之專業研討會，以強化各專利工程師之經驗及能力，因為我們深知有經驗的專利工程師是事務所最重要的資產。 為了因應事務所的業務成長，我們亟需優秀之專利工程師之加入，以提供客戶更佳之服務，及為台灣科技培養專業之專利工程師。如果你/妳是有心從事智慧財產權志業者，且將所選擇從事之工作視為一種生涯(career)，而非一個職位(job)，歡迎加入本所的高科技法律專家行列。我們提供三個月的試用期，因此，您可以在這段期間試著瞭解智慧財產權之全貌，並確定自己之性向是否適任於專利工程師的工作。本所採美式管理，以培養新人成為專業之執業人員(Professional)。
經營理念
LIAN AND LIU Intellectual Property Office is a law firm primarily engaged in the practice of intellectual property law. The firm specializes in the law of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and is fully committed to providing high quality legal services promptly and at a reasonable cost for our clients. And within each of those areas, we offer our clients the full range of representation: litigation, licensing, counseling opinions, and procurement of rights, such as through patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and computer chip mask works.
We are interested in candidates who want to keep pace with the changes in intellectual property law, who share our commitment to providing excellent services to clients, and who want to create innovative solutions to problems. We are actively seeking associates (patent engineers) with degrees in electrical engineering, physics, biological sciences, chemistry, or computer science with 0-3 years of experience in intellectual property procurement (prosecution) or enforcement (litigation). Of particular current interest are persons with backgrounds in optics, semiconductor design or fabrication, microprocessor design or manufacture, TFT LCD design or fabrication, and/or object-oriented programming. Excellent credentials and writing ability are essential.
Under our compensation program, first-year associates will receive base compensation levels moving from NT$ 500,000 to NT$ 600,000. Base compensation levels for second-year and more senior associates will range from NT$ 700,000 to NT$ 1,500,000. Senior associates will also receive a share of the firm’s profits in addition to their base compensation. Associates at all levels are also eligible for merit bonuses for extraordinary contributions to the firm. If you continue meeting our targets for five years, you will qualify as a candidate for partner of the firm.
