This project is a new single-story residential plan with an interior area of approximately 255 square meters.

The needs of a future retirement home must be met, but it is also essential to set aside short-term housing options for family gatherings. This leads to the following summary and deconstruction of the two main axes of this project. First, there must be an appropriate and unrestricted use of space, such as ample storage, master and second bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, making the most of the common area, etc. Second, a sophisticated, high-quality and time-honored atmosphere should also be included in the definition.

The wooden tiles on the floor of the entryway reveal the beauty of simplicity, and the glazed terminal view with suspended light is pleasing to the eye. The standing storage room and the high cabinet column are placed up against the wall to form a seamless continuous surface shape. The iron and glass screens and the difference in the flooring materials finish off the movement guidance and delineation of the inside from the outside. The layout of the common area includes a kitchen with an island in the middle, a dining room, a living room and a study with a balcony-accessible window. The four units are connected by an L-shaped axis. Due to the excellent lighting conditions on site, the free-flowing view angle is especially expansive and deep.

All of the apartments colors are organic, healthy, elegant, and vibrant. For instance, a trowel was used to build the wall from the terminal view of the entryway to the back wall of the sofa. The TV wall is made of stone veneer with iron-work and a glass low counter, which looks sharp-edged and is easy to clean. The daylight study has glass sliding doors instead of solid walls and the skylight seeps in layer by layer to enhance the sensation of space.

The master bedroom features an inward-slanting door that opens horizontally, with the sleeping area in the center. The master bedrooms four-piece bathroom and separate transparent dressing room are set up on either side. The base of the headboard, which covers a sizable area, is made of wall cloth with a weaved pattern; saddle leather is then stitched on top of it. The delicate sequence vividly captures the user experience of having ones senses treated with respect, with the background light clearly defining the progressive and receding layers.
