Based on the diversified art and cultural principles constantly implemented by the house owner throughout the past, the front facade is spread out horizontally, where the cream-colored stone coating and the low-horizontal building volume reveal an intellectual and quiet landscape temperament resembling a modern art museum in all aspects.

The slightly retreated entrance designed on purpose is roughly located at the middle section, where the vertical windows amongst the grids on the left face into a mirrored water landscape, ingeniously avoiding the scorching sun exposure from the west, thereby reducing the indoor air-conditioning energy consumption, while catering for the architectural shaping, the brilliant lighting and adequate privacy. A barrier-free access ramp is combined on the right, which creates the image of a vague tranquil passageway behind the columns.

The guest-welcoming counter featuring a ceiling with a gigantic semi-sphere and imitated daylight act as the starting point, while a large area of white or partial warm wood colors are selected for the elevated indoor, thereby orderly creating the engineering section enriched in art gallery sentiment with a curating style; it is fused with the cultural hall and the bar area featuring the concepts of book and object selection, as well as units such as the discussion area by the window opposite the long bar.

The flattened oval partition screen in front of the engineering section guides the circulation, with the bold use of white color that represents the minimum materials desire for the area within to weaken the commonly seen loud manner of commercialized marketing; both sides of the space are combined with illustrated chronological charts suitable for viewing at eye level, briefly describing the history of the enterprise while further accentuating the traces of the brand attempting to actively walk out of the comfort circle. The cultural hall focusing on object and book selection is the transitional border between the dark wood and white colors, while the checkered vocabulary of the bookshelf reaching all the way to the ceiling is also continued to the long bar and the discussion area via the skyline connection and the inconspicuous medium of units.

The entire project has selected simple colors with strong design concepts, using only soundless spatial language as the genuine presentation of the owner’s exploration of brand spirit and the intrinsic quality of the intention.
